Hi,
I be looking for an upgrade for my Nikon D700. Don't really need video as I have a Panny G7 for dat. I really wants to be hitting up some new sensors for better out of the camera colors. Yaddamean? This Nikon D700 has been great but I am ready for some new tech.
Budget be around 1500. What yalls think I should get? Should I just switch to Canon (UH-Ohhh).
Thanks yalls. Oh yeah, I got that Fuji X100t for street carry. I want this DSLR for hired shoots and night shots, and fishing shots, and well, just doper photos yaddamean?
Please help.
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Frankly I am not a fan of Nikon or Canon they are providing nothing for their customer base and frankly have fallen behind the others out there....

The Sony link above no joke I shot a friends wedding with my Medium Format Phase and that very camera with that kit lens only..... 1000 for a killer camera and lens
Well, I'll chime in because I had a D700 and needed to move up and selected the D810. I didn't want to switch systems and get new glass and so on. The move proved the best ever and still use it as a backup. Dynamic and tonal ranges are better than my D700, and simply put it was a shoe in with little to relearn. Just grab it and shoot, as I just had to go to it today as a backup and I never missed a beat.
But like most systems there are many that do a great job, like the Olympus line becasue I love their fast focusing. I guess the glass keeps me with Nikon and the camera body just feels right. I just saw one for $1600.
I think I used the video capabilities twice on the D810. I have no need for it but it is nice to have if something is happening right in front of me where a video capture would be best in telling a story.
Again, for me moving from a D700 to a D810 was all about the glass I already owned so no investments with no learning curve involved.
