About the event

During this workshop we will work on creating the best light plan for the specific subject. From creating the sets, styling, communication, light selections, exposure, posing and getting it right in camera.

Sounds easy, done it a thousand times?

Well come with an empty our mind, and then create based on the personality of the subject and what we have to work with to create a body of work that represents the persons character.

Our goal in this workshop is to create 6+ images using some of these classic approaches keeping light falloff (Inverse square law) in mind all while keeping communication with the subject. Let's also work on our posing to bring impact in their portrait using and working with composition in the frame:

  • Butterfly lighting
  • Rembrandt Lighting
  • Broad lighting
  • Short lighting
